Nicolas Girard was born in Switzerland in 1980. Soon after being radically saved in 1997 at age 17, he was called to ministry and enrolled in a Bible school in Switzerland called Ibeto. After 2 years as a full-time student, he heard from the Lord to further his training in Pensacola, Florida, at F.I.R.E. School of Ministry. He met there his wife-to-be, Leia, at a cell group. Upon completion of the year of training he had committed to, Nicolas and Leia got married and moved to Italy as full-time missionaries in March 2004. After 2 1/2 years in Calabria, they moved to Montoro (2.5 hours south of Rome) to join a church-planting ministry. Nicolas' main giftings are in teaching the Word of God and discipleship. They are the proud parents of 2 children, Eva and Elise and are expecting their third child due end of April.

Leia Girard was born in Harper, Kansas in 1980. She grew up in Wichita, Kansas and got saved in 1996. After graduating from High School, she joined F.I.R.E. School of Ministry where she completed their 3-year program. In 2001, she moved as a single missionary to Italy to work with a tent ministry. After 2 years of travelling back and forth to the States and ministering with local churches and the tent ministry, Leia got married to Nicolas in 2003. They moved to Southern Italy to minister with an existing local church in March 2004 and had their first daughter in February 2005. Since then and especially since the birth of their second daughter, Leia's ministry focus is on raising and homeschooling her own children, discipling and counseling women, meeting other moms and encouraging them in their roles as Christian mothers and wives, and occassional conferences. She is skilled to do puppet shows, clown ministry, and worship.
